Diovan is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. It's known as an ACB, or angiotensin II receptor blocker. Angiotensin II is a bodily hormone that narrows the blood vessels, which can cause high blood pressure. Be sure to ask your doctor before taking them, because although antacids are available over the counter they can interact with certain prescription medications.
